Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has made new and major changes for the employees, under which online and credit card rules have been simplified. One of the special changes is that up to 100% of PF money can be withdrawn without any documents required for withdrawal in special circumstances.
The move is part of EPFO’s effort to improve the convenience of the division and introduce more labs in helping K-datamars access their footfall savings.
What were the provisions in the earlier update?
Under the previous system, members could withdraw their entire EPF amount during general spectrum events such as prolonged unemployment, lockout, company closure, pandemic or natural calamities.
