Due to western disturbance and various sea winds being active in the country and its surrounding areas, rain and heat waves will continue in many states. Delhi, Punjab and Haryana may receive light to moderate rain and intermittent light to moderate rain till April 1. The atmosphere will remain cool and moist with a slight drop in this temperature.
There is a possibility of intermittent rain and thundershowers in the Western Himalayas for the next 7-8 days. It may rain again in Delhi during this period. There is a possibility of rain and lightning in Uttar Pradesh today i.e. on March 31. At the same time, sporadic rains and gas flashes are likely to continue in India for the next few days, which may lead to local disasters and changes in the water flow of rivers.
There is a possibility of rain and thunderstorm in some major areas of Odisha and Chhattisgarh on March 31 and April 2. Similar things can be seen in Madhya Pradesh also for the next few days. In South and West India, there is a possibility of rain and shine in some parts of Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Maratha, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh between March 31 and April 3. Apart from this, sporadic rain and thunderstorms may also occur in Kerala and Andaman-Nicobar Islands.
These weather patterns are mainly being caused by active oceanic circulation over northern Iran and the Western Disturbance over the Caspian Sea, northwest Rajasthan and surrounding areas. Experts predict that a new western disturbance may affect northwest India from April 2, making the weather more unstable.
According to the weather in the next few days, passengers and the general public have been advised to remain cautious. Day temperatures remain low due to light to moderate rainfall and grey-ish glow in the coastal areas.
