While discharging environmental activist Samin Wangchuk from Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi High Court said that ‘every life is valuable.’
Also, the High Court said that in the case of Seemi Wangchuk’s discharge from Safdarjung Hospital, ‘the decision will be taken on the basis of the report of the Medical Board.’
Delhi High Court said that at present ‘there is no waste of interim order’ in this case.
The High Court has asked to file a status report within three days. The next hearing in this list is to be held on July 24, which means Wangchuk will have to remain in Safdarjung Hospital for the next three days.
This petition was filed on behalf of Geetanjali J Angmo, wife of Field Wangchuk, at 4 am on Sunday, which was immediately accepted for hearing by the High Court despite it being Sunday.

The direction given by the Delhi High Court meant that if Kimar Wangchuk’s condition worsened, he could be taken to the hospital.
On July 16, the Delhi High Court rejected Rakesh Kumar Solanki’s investigation petition during a hearing on Wangchuk’s legacy.
The bench comprising Chief Justice Justice Cathedral Kumar and Robert Tejas Karia took on record the Solicitor General’s submission that government doctors would monitor Wangchuk on a daily basis and issue warrants.
What happened in Delhi High Court on Sunday
According to Live Law, during the hearing on the file of General Wangchuk’s wife on Sunday, the Delhi High Court said, “It should be kept in mind that in any situation, the final decision will remain only with the medical team, which recommended the decision in the medical file.”

On this issue, senior lawyer Sanjay Hegde said while talking to BBC, “In Sunday’s hearing, the court has not given any interim order and has sought answers in this matter. Perhaps the court has felt that this case has been heard in the division and the entire side has been heard.”
“What order will the court give after looking at the tab, if the healthy Wangchuk is taken to the team of some other hospital and is not given to him? As of now, this has not happened.”
Arguing Kapil Sibal, he said, “She (Sonam Wangchuk) is not a judge. There is no case against her. Is no citizen of India allowed to go to the hospital of his choice? How can the government say that it has control over his body and he will not go there?”
Sanjay Hegde said, “He can leave the hospital without being admitted to the court. In such a case, the doctor writes Ilha M.A. (Left Against Medical Advice). According to Bar & BenchAdditional Solicitor General Chetan Sharma, appearing for the Centre, said that in the order of July 16, it has been clearly recorded that there will be no problem in the treatment of Wangchuk and the quality of treatment will be provided by the government.
He said that a team of lawyers from Bhola Safdarjung Hospital and AIIMS is treating him.
The ASG said serious strains could develop in the final 18-day season.
He said, “There is no reason to doubt. He is being taken full care of. But he will have to cooperate in the treatment.”
The ASG also raised questions as to what was the purpose of the lawyer meeting Wangchuk when he was in the hospital and not in the court.
He further said, “If anything happens to them in the current scenario, it will have serious consequences. In such a situation, the government will have to be more careful and take extra precautions.”
Sharma said that ever since Wangchuk was admitted to the hospital, his lawyers have made claims that his treatment is not credible.
AIIMS doctor Akshay in court on this matter He said, “We are treating Wangchuk. He has started taking some fluids from yesterday and also O Stockist without sugar. We are conceiving him for IV fluid infusion, but he rejected it.”
Dr. Akshay said, “Electrical vitamins are also wasted, but they are also reduced by the amount of vitamins. Some of their vitamins are as per the standard and some are less than normal. There is loss of water in their body and they are wasted of potassium.”
The director of Safdarjung Hospital also said that Wangchuk’s family had no faith in his treatment.
