Selvamani Selvaraj’s ‘Kantha’ is now gearing up for its OTT release after completing its theatrical run. Starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead alongside Bhagyashree Borse, Samuthirakani and Rana Daggubati, the film explores a more personal battle in a stylish retro setting.

At its core, ‘Kantha’ is the story of the uneasy push-pull between superstar TK Mahadevan (Dulquer) and filmmaker Ayya (Samuthirakani). Their history is filled with admiration and ego, a rivalry that never fully erupts but simmers beneath every interaction, as if both men are waiting for the other to blink first.

Netflix announced on Monday that the film will begin streaming in multiple languages ​​on December 12. ‘Kantha’ is produced by Rana Daggubati and Dulquer Salmaan under Spirit Media and Wayfarer Films.
