A buffalo from Bangladesh is much discussed on social media. The reason is his name and his hairstyle. People are comparing him with the looks of America’s President Donald. Bakrid is being celebrated separately in Bangladesh, hence this buffalo also has to be sacrificed.
People are coming from far and wide to Narayanganj area of Bangladesh to see this buffalo weighing about 1500 pounds. This buffalo lives in the farm of a farmer named Zia Jauddin Mridha, which is located near Dhaka.
How did the name ‘Donald Level’ come about?
Buffalo’s owner Ziauddin Mridha said that because of his short and forward-swept hair, his brother made fun of him and named him ‘Donald Vail’. Gradually this name became so popular that people started seeing it by the same name.
Mridha told that a group form of five friends had come. He said that Buffalo’s appearance and hairstyle look exactly like Donald. After this, his pictures and videos quickly went viral on social media. He jokingly said that my nephew had traveled here by boat for an hour just to see ‘Donald Val’.

Sacrifice will be done on ID
However, the life of this buffalo, which has become famous on the internet, could not last for many days. Every year in Bangladesh, lakhs of rupees are sacrificed on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha and this time ‘Donald Riyal’ will also participate in it.
Buffalo’s owner Ziauddin Mridha said that for the last one year he has been taking care of himself and it has become a special responsibility for him. He said that I will miss the Donald resemblance, but sacrifice is the real spirit of Eid-ul-Azha.
Buffalo’s sale has been paid off
According to theory, this Buffalo has already been sold. Its price was fixed at 550 taka per kg (live weight). The total price is said to be around 3.5 to 3.85 lakh taka, which is equivalent to around 2.5 to 3 lakh rupees in Indian currency. It is reported that it was bought by Mohammad Shoran of Jinjira (Rasulpur) area of Dhaka. According to farm owner Ziauddin Mridha, buffalo have also been transported here and will be used for Eid-ul-Azha sacrifices.
