The Pakistan government has decided that its cricket team will go to England to participate in the ICC T-20 World Cup, but ‘will not take the field’ in the match against India.
This decision has put the cricket world in the biggest crisis of orthodoxy.
This is not the first case of Rooster returning to the match in ICZA.

In the 1996 World Cup, Australia and West Indies refused to go to England citing security concerns.

Why is it different this time?
Taking the decision of having no objection against India, Pakistan has protested against this decision against Bangladesh. This distance is different in many ways.
Bangladesh has already withdrawn from the tournament. Bangladesh were infamously involved in their proposal to shift their matches to Sri Lanka in view of the security of their team in India.
Pakistan was the only country on the ICC Executive Committee to support Bangladesh’s desire to have its matches away from India.
War against India was declared, leading Pakistan to take another step in support of Bangladesh.
