The latest track from Nadirshah’s ‘Magic Mushroom’ presented by Shreya Ghoshal and Hanan Shah is winning hearts online.
A The new track of the upcoming Malayalam film ‘Magic Mushroom’ has left an emotional impact on the listeners. The recently released song performed by Shreya Ghoshal and Hanan Shah has been appreciated for its gentle composition and soothing delivery, which has rapidly gained attention among music fans.
The film marks the return of actor Vishnu Unnikrishnan to the big screen after the success of ‘Kattapanayil Ritwik Roshan’. Directed by Nadirshah, ‘Magic Mushrooms’ is billed as a light-hearted, family-friendly entertainer and is scheduled for theatrical release on January 23.
Nadirshah has also composed the music of the film, with lyrics written by BK Harinarayanan. The newly launched track, ‘Thalodi Maryuwathevide Ne…’, represents the first musical collaboration between Ghoshal, known for his extensive catalog of hit songs over a long period of time, and contemporary singer Hanan Shah. Early listeners have responded warmly to the song’s simplicity, melodic charm and soulful vocals. Akshay Udayakumar is in the lead role in the film.
‘Magic Mushroom’ is produced by Ashraf Pilakkal under the Manjadi Creations banner. The screenplay, story and dialogues are written by newcomer Akash Dev, distributed by Bhavana Releases.
Another song from the film, ‘Arane Arane…’ has generated a lot of interest online recently. This track of KS Chitra and Rimi Tommy, popularly known as Kokila of Malayalam, has gone viral and is trending on YouTube.
The cast includes Harishree Ashokan, Aju Varghese, Johnny Antony, Jaffer Idukki, Bobby Kuriakose, Siddharth Bharathan, Ashraf Pilakkal and Santhivila Dinesh among others.
The soundtrack features an impressive list of singers, among them Shankar Mahadevan, KS Chitra, Shreya Ghoshal, Vineet Srinivasan, Jassi Gift, Hanan Shah, Rimi Tomy, Ranjini Jose and Khadija Nadirshah. Cinematography is by Sujith Vasudev, while lyrics are by BK Harinarayanan, Santosh Varma, Rajeev Alunkal, Rajeev Govindan and Yadukrishnan R.
