Dubai: Batsman Harpreet Singh Bhatia is set to lead the UAE national men’s team on the tour of Jersey and Scotland in the ICC CWC League 2 tri-series.
The 15-member squad will leave for Jersey on Saturday, where they will play 50-over practice matches against the hosts at the NCC Grenville grounds on both Monday and Wednesday. The team will then travel to Scotland for a triangular series, with Canada as the host and Canada the other participants.
The UAE team is scheduled to play a practice match against Scotland A on Friday, July 31.
The UAE’s first match will be against Scotland on Monday, August 3, followed by a match against Canada on August 5. UAE will face the hosts in the third match on August 9, while the final match of the series will see them face Canada on August 11. All matches will be played at the Forfarshire CC ground in Dundee and matches will start at 11am local time.
