The case of ‘encounter’ of Bharat Ratna Tiwari in Bhojpur district of Bihar is continuously in the headlines.
Bharat Tiwari’s Facebook Live, claim of surrender and order for temple investigation have taken this incident from ‘fake support’ to talks of ‘encounter raj’.
In such a situation, it has been told in this question that who was Bharat Bhagwan Tiwari, where ‘N Quarter’ has raised serious questions politically and legally.
Our efforts in Javiniya village of Shahpur were to get to the bottom of this question.
A big board with Bharat Tiwari’s photo has been installed at the entrance of the village. On which it is written – ‘Shaheed Bharat Nagar youth, your sacrifice will always be remembered.’
In the rural areas here, it is said that people keep this name in reverence of Bharat Tiwari.
Bharat Tiwari was ‘encountered’ by the police on June 17 in the same village, due to which he died during treatment.
However, according to the press release issued by Bhojpur SP, “The police team had fired a bullet to protect the dead and the people, which hit Bharat in his leg.”
The people of Javiniya village reject this claim of the police.
These villagers say that if Bharat Tiwari had not made films for this village, then perhaps even the final issue of electricity and water would not have come to the fore.
Many villagers we spoke to claimed, “India sacrificed its life for our demand.”

There is a government school at a distance of about two km from Biloti village on Ara-Buxar National Highway. In front of it is a one-storey house from India.
Here his parents are met by thousands of social workers, villagers, media persons and leaders of various ashrams.
In the verandah of the house, Bharat’s 70 year old father Kashinath Tiwari is shown unconscious from the factory where his remaining son was killed by the mob.

Sitting on the verandah of the house, elder Bharat’s brother Vasant Tiwari, 35, is looking at his mother and Bhavya along with his younger brother.
Spring Tiger reminds his brother that his four siblings were the most beautiful. He is a B.Sc. from Ara College. He was studying till 10th and was also preparing for mountaineering.
He told, “Bharat had decided not to marry for the sake of social service. To ensure that no one forces him to marry, Bharat had voluntarily committed self-immolation about 10 years ago and had also taken a vow to donate his organs.”
Villager Vinay Kumar says, “He had a fearless, playful mind and young blood running through all the streams. He was very enthusiastic but spoke the right words and used to work only for the society.”
Did Bharat Tiwari have any criminal record?

Although Bharat Sharehold had no criminal record, on March 24, 2025, Kabir Ramashankar Arrest of Shahpur police station had made an F strong entry against him.

In a Facebook post, he had talked about an ‘encounter’ between an ‘uninitiated artist’ and an officer on the lines of a government documentary.
His post went viral after he was taken to his house by the local police. Police claim that they also tried to arrest Bharat Tiwari, but he (Bharat) removed the warrants.
Bharat Tiwari watched live on Facebook from the night of 16 June to 10 am on 17 June. Which includes videos of the police surrounding his house, the wall supported by the Indian Police and videos of alleged supporters.
He had 6,000 followers on Facebook but after June 16, the number of followers increased to 2 lakh 49 thousand till the time of writing the news.

Bharat Tiwari’s Facebook page is showing messages and biographies of Nelson Mandela including Bhagat Singh and Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti.
He considers himself a fan of UP CM Yogi Adityanath and a follower influenced by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
He used to share videos related to earning on his social media.
In the year 2023, he had traveled on foot from Bhojpur in Bihar to Bageshwar Dham. During this journey, many of his videos and photos went viral on social media. Here he met Dhirendra Krishna Shastri.
What is the story of Javainiyan village?

Villager Vinay Kumar told that Javiniya village of Shahpur section had merged into the Ganga river due to severe erosion and floods in July last year.
More than 350 houses were destroyed and more than 1500 people died overnight in this tragedy. Again in the first film for the final stage the Bihar government gave about 70 percent relaxation for staying in Shahpur.

What has happened so far in this case?
The ‘encounter’ case gained momentum, three days after the incident the administration took action and convicted five policemen including the Shahpur police station chief.
Also, Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary decided to investigate the temple by the Vice President Judge of the High Court independently and to investigate the ministers.
Additional Director General of Police (ADG) Sudhanshu Kumar, who appeared before the media for the first time on June 22, considered this a weakness of the police.
He said, “The one who had talked to the police on June 16 before the encounter, could not handle it properly.”
In this case, Shahpur station’s burial establishment Rajesh Mangalkar had accused Bharat’s father Kashinath Tiwari and a minor brother of giving protection to Bharat and giving information about illegal weapons.
FF had claimed that many videos along with the blog had already gone viral on Indian social media. Yet the family did not inform the police, making it appear that both were protecting India in possessing illegal weapons.
Later, it was reported in the media that this F-Feber has been withdrawn. On this, Bharat Shatrughan Tiwari’s elder brother Spring Tiwari says, “Till now he has not received any written order or official release in this regard.”

Spring Tiger demands that if the name has been removed from the case, written proof be provided. Also, he has demanded that the investigation of this case should be done not by the retired judge but by the present judge and attorney.
