Bengaluru power cut: Some areas of East and Southeast Bengaluru reportedly faced power disruption on Thursday, April 23. The power cut has reportedly affected areas within HSR Layout, Basavanagar and Mallespalya. The reason for the disruptions is being said to be maintenance work. Power supply is likely to be restored by evening.
Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) on Thursday issued an update regarding the outage involving ’66/11 KV HSR MUSS Feeder F12′ and ’66/11KV 66/11KV Kadubeesanahalli Station Bank 1 Transformer 2′.
Power cut in Bengaluru today
BESCOM has not issued any official notification regarding power cuts in Bengaluru and surrounding areas on Thursday, April 23. However, power supply remained restricted on Thursday afternoon in areas served by 66/11 KV HSR MUSS F12 feeder, as well as feeders F15, F8, F17, F13 and F2 connected to 66/11 KV Kadubeesanahalli station (Bank 1, Transformer 2), BESCOM confirmed.

“There is still an interruption, 66/11 KV HSR MUSS F12 feeder 500KVA TC NO: 80 LT UG is kept open for cable fault, power supply will be restored at 14:00 (approximately),” BESCOM wrote in a social media post on Twitter.
