The truth behind Govinda’s Avatar cameo

When Govinda claimed he was offered a role in Avatar

There he introduced me to James Cameron. He asked me to do a film with James, so I invited him over dinner to discuss it.” Govinda also claimed, “I had also given the title of the picture.”
Explaining why he refused, the actor said, “They said the shooting would last 410 days. I said it was fine, but if I painted my body, I would be in the hospital!”
However, Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja publicly refuted this version. In a podcast with Uorfi Javed, he said, “Hey man, I don’t know when this offer happened, I will be with Govinda for 40 years.” He said, “I don’t know when that director-producer of Avatar came. I don’t know whether it happened.”
Strongly distancing herself from the claim, Sunita said, “I don’t lie, nor will I take sides. I don’t support lies.”
