The men’s Japan national team will visit Thailand next week to play against three other international teams.
The team will be made up of 14 players and will have matches against hosts Thailand as well as Bahrain and Bhutan.
Two players, Reo Sakurano-Thomas and Lachlan Yamamoto-Lake, are unavailable from last year’s Asia/EAP regional finals in Oman, while Kohei Kubota returns.
The head coach will be Dhugal Bedingfield, while Devon Van Onselen will continue in his role as strength and conditioning coach along with team manager. Hiromu Inoue will reprise his role as coach which he last played for the men in October 2024.

**After the first three rounds of matches, there will be a third place play-off at 11:00 and the final at 15:30.
