He said, “Watching that scene on screen was extremely emotional for me. Even while shooting it, I felt a heaviness because 26/11 is not just an incident, it is a wound that the entire nation remembers even today.”
Reflecting further on the terror attacks, Dalvinder said, “Those incidents remind us of the pain that many innocent people and brave officers went through. When I saw myself portraying a character associated with such a tragic moment, it brought back the intensity of what happened in real life.”
Sharing her emotional reaction she said, “Even today, thinking about 26/11 brings anger, sadness and respect – anger for the brutality, sadness for the lives lost, and immense respect for the heroes who fought to protect us.”
Emphasizing the responsibility he felt as an actor, Dalvinder said, “I felt a huge responsibility to handle this scene with integrity and sensitivity, keeping in mind the emotions of the people who were alive that day.”
Speaking about working with director Aditya Dhar, she praised his approach, saying, “Aditya sir guided me with great clarity and patience. He explained every layer of the scene and the mindset required for the character.” He concluded by saying, “His direction helped me understand the tone and sensibility required to portray it responsibly.”
